Dr. Goodman received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from
Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and has had
extensive training and experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy
(CBT). He completed an APA-accredited internship at a VA hospital
in Bedford, Massachusetts and worked as an anxiety disorders
specialist at a large psychology practice in the greater Boston area
before relocating to San Luis Obispo. He then opened the Coastal
Center for Anxiety Treatment. He has been an adjunct faculty
member of Northeastern University and is a member of the
California Psychological Association, Central Coast Psychological
Association, Anxiety Disorders Association of America,
Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation, and the Association for
Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
